Boxed set of MacGregor Centennials. These don’t come up too often, especially as new with the display case,
I have a set without the case and they are lovely. I have even hit a few balatas with them, just don’t tell anyone
Cheers, Arnie
A couple of old interesting sets- in my mind anyhow
cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi … K:MEWAX:IT
And a full set for the persimmon buff
hiks… wish they could send them to Melbourne
Same here…same here (only to QLD).
Joiniindo and Pipolo,

If one of you boys are keen let us know wouldn’t to hard to sort out for you

Thanks very much for your offer Bio! How often do you ship from there?
Biomechanic,
That would be great.
I’m new to Advanced Ball Striking. Good to be part of this community.
Just picked up my first set of clubs. I’m sure my wife will think I’m crazy, but I need to get ready for the Vintage Tour.

They look very nice papi. And all for $82 - I just can’t get over this.
Congrats Papi…Can’t go wrong with those…What was TweetPea Thinking?
A decent looking set of MacGregor Ben Hogan Parmakers:
cgi.ebay.com/Macgregor1949-MacGr … 2303b7269a
From what I understand the Ben Hogan MacGregor irons never were the best quality clubs made by MacGregor, but I love the way they look. Imagine the look on the face of your oponent when taking the 2-iron out of your bag on the first tee. Those irons look seriously un-forgiving.
I have a mint set of those. Perfect condition. They are a really nice looking club and the shafts actually feel quite stiff to waggle. I have never hit them as the set I have are in such good condition for being 60 years old or more I just can’t get myself to scuff them up. More of a collector mentality with the ones I have
Here are a couple of photos you will see better what they look like than that e-bay posting
TM, the back of the clubs state “offset model”. Can you give an indication as to how much offset these irons have? Looking at the pictures it’s hard to tell, I think it’s only half a shaft offset is that correct?
I notice very little offset at address position. I will try and add a address view later for reference
well guys, the beat goes on! I thought I stole my Hagen Ultras (prev post) but look what I found…
check out these grooves…
I took pic of only the 7 iron, as it was the most used!
Even with regular shafts these things come in at 460 grams-dead weight-but I LOVE THEM! MY favorite club at the moment…As I move on in the modules, I may throw is some stiffer shafts, but for the time being, fun stuff!!

TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS!![/b]
got some Hogans on the way…LOL
The great thing about all the modern gear and the amazing persuasive advertising and marketing on the golf channel and other popular golf shows and mags is…
…that you can go onto e bay and buy some of the finest golf gear ever made for $25.
This is why I love modern gear… not to use… but do use as a decoy for the general golf public.

You vintage clubs junkie! Actually I am becoming one too!
I have a set of Hagens myself that I got on Ebay for $ 25 AUD. Not as good as yours though, very used but still playable. I’ll take some pictures and post them as soon as my broadband speed goes back to normal (down to modem speed ATM).
Please don’t steal all the good bargains out there now…
