Great Equipment Alerts

jrich99,

They are Apex as pictured. Not sure if they still have them. This was couple weeks ago. But let me know and i can check. Thanks!

Hi Bspeck,

Unfortunately they aren’t quite what I was looking for.

Sorry,
Jrich99

No Worries! Thanks

These any good?

bspeck,

Those look like they are in very good condition. My guess is that they are store line…but so what…I would guess they were forged by the same foundry that made the pro line stuff. I bought and am sending to Lag a set of MacGregor irons designated MC for bending. I have found no information on them from any source so I expect they are store line as well.

On another front, look at this baby. A driver from the 20s with a level screwed into the top:

Oh wow? haha…why the leveler? It must have not done any good, or else the modern drivers would still have em!

No no no, the modern drivers don’t have one because they’re too upright to sit level with the ground at address (if you’re shorter than 9 feet, that is)

These are some seriously beautiful Powerbilts from the 50s. Unfortunately, they have regular shafts and are quite short (5 iron is 36.5). If you are willing to reshaft, however, they would be great.

Cool looking sandwedge, as well, with the dual sole.

Hey guys,
I am thinning out my collection of Wilson Staff irons, as I have decided to play only sets from the 50’s, 60’s (Dynapower’s only).
Here are two sets I just put up on Ebay…they are in GREAT shape for their age, and the FG 49’s are very rare. Buy with confidence, as I have 100% feedback, and am an ABS student…any questions please ask!

Golf Pride “Pro Only” Crown Grips - new old stock! (don’t think they’re the cord grips though, which are the ones Lag likes?)

Amazing collection of UNHIT MacGregor persimmon from the 1950s/60s. I would have kept it to myself but the guy isn’t shipping internationally for some strange reason. No doubt some of these will go for big prices.

Oh dear…not sure if I should be posting this for those forum members with “a problem” collecting golf clubs:

WOW,

Lets pool some coin guys, we need that collection over here.
