Please someone buy these Mac PT1’s with Propel#1 shafts in the next 25 hours or I will be forced to buy them myself out of sense of natural justice lol!
I saw a set of PT2’s at Lags place and I think that aesthetically I liked them even more than the M85s or Silver Scots or whatever 50’s equivalent you can think of. These look in great nick with the #1 shaft in as well.
Don’t make me do it, the children will have to have them for Xmas if you do!
Boys . . . . I will have access to an inventory list shortly . . . . Just purchased a set of Penna’s and PC’s from a great old dude. Went through his shop with him . . . . He’s LOADED with old skool gear . . . The one’s I got were covered in dust but after a lil’ scrub up . . . in GREAT shape. I’m talking about multiple iron sets, persimmon sets, . . . . some of the iron sets are still in the box with no seal broken.
OK Boys . . . here’s the PARTIAL LIST . . . . This cat is UNBELIEVABLE . . . His shop has been around 4 evvvvver . . . It was an old soul food type joint . . .He had all this stuff in a walk in freezer! Most of the stuff is in great shape. What I have listed here is what I saw and inventoried today. The list pretty much is complete sets. Some may not have the 2 iron. I’ll have a more complete list for you later but there are some GREAT items here. If you want to talk specifics holla. I can try to give you my best assessment of the shape specs etc. I got a camera and can take pics. It’s just a lot of stuff. He’s going to get the woods out too. There are a BUNCH of Wilson Staff irons that he hasn’t pulled out of deep freeze at this point. So there is more to come. He’s got old wedges, drivers, some wood sets too, and some sets (not in this list) are partial (could later not be partial if the missing irons turn up in the shop). This cat used to date Methuselah’s cuzin so he has some history . . . he’s a nice cat and will entertain reasonable offers. I’m just helping him out cuz he don’t know nothing about the internet . . . I wanted to give y’all first pass at this deal. He may want to put it up on e-bay. Not sure yet. But this is what we’re dealing with and the list will grow.
The one’s in the box he’s pretty partial to . . . probably wouldn’t let them go quite as easy as the others. I’ll put this list up in the fo’ sale part of the equipment forum too . . . Hollaaaaaa!

A little story about Jerry Lewis. I played at least 50 rounds of golf with Jerry Lewis many years ago. He was very serious about his golf game…and was fun to play with. When playing golf he was 2% comedian and 98% golfer. He had a single-digit handicap. Jerry carried a left-handed Ping 2 wood he’d hit every once in a while if he really needed to hit a long hooking drive off the tee. He’d tee the ball really high on custom-made 3 1/2"-4" tees (long before they became popular) and turn the left-handed Ping 2-wood over and hit it from the right side. He could hit that left-handed 2-wood better than his right-handed driver. Jerry always used a black felt marking pen to record the exact time he started the front 9, when he finished the front 9, when he started the back nine, and when he finished the round. Jerry had a habit of sending his chauffer off to do some meaningless task just to keep him busy while he played golf, but always told the chauffer to call the clubhouse every hour in case Jerry needed him (this was long before cell phones). He always paid his bets when he lost! I have a lot of fond memories from those days long ago.
The putters are a ridiculous deal for starters. The 3 macs with the Propel 2 shafts aren’t too shabby either, and the Medallions are fairly strong at the price as well as the Apex 4 shafts…
It’s funny that in with all these deals, the set of Titleist irons with R shafts are nearly $400… it’s nice to know what’s really valuable…
Have my eyes on some gear on Ebay…it requires PayPal…
Don’t know much, or anything really, about PayPal…are there any hidden dangers or concerns when signing up to use PayPal that a brain challenged rat should know about and keep in mind. RR
As long as you don’t work for Wikileaks you should be fine
You can link it to your savings account or credit card and everytime you buy something it will automatically withdraw the appropriate amount of money from there.
Yes as IOZ says paypal is fine. From memory it does take a little while to get set up so if you are after gear that is finishing on ebay soon i would crack on with the paypal account set up.
Just picked a set of these off ebay w/ the Pro Pel #1s --from 1961 with the triangle dot face and not sure the condition – looking forward to testing them out.
