These are some nice quality persimmons. I know Middleground still makes persimmons and they make nothing but good quality clubs. These would be good for somebody who plays a reg. flex shaft. Nice set you could get cheap.

Pretty damn sweet set. I can’t tell if the woods are persimmon or laminated but they look like they’re persimmon… Regardless, the irons look pretty cool… and I’m pretty sure they’re the ones used in the test posted by someone about technology from different eras…

Wow, just checked out that WB Texan that Bom listed a few days ago. 1 hour or so left and already over 300 bucks. Wow!!! This one was made in 1996 (per the serial no.).
If it was made in '96, than it is not a ‘real’ Wood Bros. Dave (Wood) told me he sold Wood Brothers to a Japanese company in '95.
I actually spoke to Dave about that Texan, he told me it was a US Production model from 1996. Its probably one of the last ones WB produced before the company was turned over. That part I’m not sure about, but its a real Wood Bros.
