Thanks! Still in progress but it’s hittable now and I’m excited about it. Just hard sourcing components. It’s currently whipped with 30# black monofilament fishing line since I haven’t found the real thing yet. This one is styled after the MT1W(I think) but it was a remake done by MacGregor in the 1970s as far as I know. I recall taking in it for a repair but qualifying it and the owner never returning. I have a couple of others I’ll be working on as well.
Dark finish goes perfectly with the signature cool dark glasses!

I recall somewhere in V1 discussion about era persimmon blocks not quite up to snuff grain wise were generally painted black. Wondering if GK came upon that beauty one day and it performed so well and felt so good why mess with success- put it in bag until it misbehaves.
