Does anyone know how the “early” wilson harmonized wedges 1955-62 compare to the early and heavy R-20 or R-90 wedges in head weight ?
I’m guessing the harmonized are lighter, but by much? Could a harmonized be brought up to 18-18.5 ounces without needing to go crazy with lead tape ?
The really heavy (wonderful) SW’s are out there… but hard to find because most people selling on ebay are not going to weigh the clubs for you. Most of the earlier Wilson wedges are pretty good… and MacGregor made some heavy ones like the “Ironmaster”.
