Anybody ever try tire balancing weights instead of lead tape when you have to bump it up a good bit? Not the kind that has the clip for the outside of the rim, but the kind that comes in 3 ounce strips with a sticky tape on one side. They come in break off sections of .25oz, .5oz, and 1oz. Maybe more. Noticed one by a dumpster and looked them up. A 3oz strip from a truck shop was less than 2 bucks. I saw a 5lb box of them on Ebay for $30, but it would be cheaper to order one from a supplier.
Just thought this may interest those who need to increase the weight more that just a little bit. I had never used lead tape before, didn’t realize how thin it was.
