It really depends on where you see the club in the mix. Inside, outside, part of it? There are things that have to happen to create and utilize this kind of force/image.
A friend of mine sent me this in an email this morning. All things considered, it seems quite fitting.

Where can I find an investor for a local golf course? A 27 hole championship golf course closed in central wisconsin two years ago to build an aquaplex on top of it. The aquaplex fell through but the golf course remained closed. At the time of closing, they had the largest womens league in the state and a very busy public course. This course needs to be reopened!
lucciaa - I’m in Wisconsin. Where is the course? There isn’t much of note in Central Wisconsin.

It may be that the Golden Mean, phi (F), or Fibonacci sequences are in the heart of everything that is not lost, or about to be lost, to chaos, including the structure of DNA and a serviceable golf swing. There are supporting clues from professionals who are comfortable discussing the Golden Mean across various domains of scientific study. Here are some quotes from that web page which may connect, more or less, with Bom’s DNA images (bold emphasis was applied by me):

One of the things that fascintates me about the golden ratio is the number of times that ratio appears within the human body. The ratio appears within the digits of our hands, the overall lenth of the body as compared to an upper or lower half segment, the face, the ear, and a few others.
Some of the reading I’ve done on the subject also says the ratio appears within triangles…maybe I can post of picture of one when I get some more time. But that really sounds interesting too as I picture the triangle formed between the shaft angle at address and a line drawn straight down from the hands at address being 2 segments of the triangle.
If I had the time, and the ability ( a Mandrin type task maybe ) it would be fun to play around with lie angles that when completed would form a golden ratio. So the hands, which form a golden ratio within the digits, would be holding an instrument that also conforms to a golden ratio. Sound like it would be pretty involved though given different heights of players, etc.
Just a few incomplete thoughts.

Both of these guys seem to be saying similar things. And it applies to DNA.
DNA, the double helix, is the blueprint for nearly all of life(except for some RNA viruses)…from plant life to Rat to eagle to dolphin to human…it’s almost hard to believe that so much richness and diversity can come from such a simple basic fundamental building scheme. We all have DNA…just in different combinations, “different nitrogenous base pairs”, turned on and off at different times by various things, including the environment, producing the vast life forms we see.
It is interesting, if not fascinating, that from the side we can see that Hoganesque resemblance Bom posted a while back, while from above we see a circle, or wheel with spokes…another resemblance to a golf swing, a hurricane, or a whirlpool.

The main thing that struck me in digging into DNA and it’s structure, is that it’s ‘backbone’ is/are the sides. That was something that really floored me in terms of it’s applicability to golf. While the centre is the centre, that centre exists due to what moves around it, and vice-versa ultimately. It’s a fascinating situation in terms of the particular/universal point that you referenced.

Yes…it’s sorta like the exoskeleton on a lobster. In the case of the lobster…it’s not only for stabilty/structure( just like an internal spine), but also for protection.
I am wondering if the important thing is not where it is, internal vs external, but rather what it is for?..In the golfswing we need stability and structure. Do we need protection?
Funny thought today that never occurred to me before- probably because I had no idea what a Golden Ratio is.

But in the golfswing I don’t think it’s a static centre all the way, or it’s not perfectly circular, at least not until maximum acceleration.
In my mind this is very interesting and valuable for picturing a golf swing, it may sound like madness though
When I talk about the sides or picture them, the thing that appears is the fact that they have to keep moving in order to maintain the structure. And when they do, it makes for a very good golfswing. But the route, or the feeling of the route required to keep moving through impact, is kind of strange, though I’m pretty sure that’s not news in ABS world.
