First Flight was a short lived premier company that had Tony Penna designing the heads and irons to kick off the company. Tony Lema was on their staff as well as Palmer and Gary Player for several years. The company folded due to issues with Palmer’s contracts at the time. Some of the best stuff I have seen. Absolute premium quality gear and played by some of the best golfers of that era. Penna wanted to outdo MacGregor and in many ways he did. After First Flight folded, Penna started his own company.
