A golf swing is to the stroke as a sun is to the ray.
The advanced ball striker program is the proper way for one to hit a ball. And it offers an easy step by step drill program. You can feel what to do versus listening to endless instructors talking just to hear themselves talk. What is wrong with that??
This is what the modern swing is. That your Gankas, Milos, Kelvin and a million other instructors are now teaching. A stable clubface thru the strike and beyond using body and forearm rotation. Why bash something that is now
Being taught as the proper way of playing this game. It’s ludicrous really… so if your bashing this. Than your also bashing them
Another teacher from the lead better academy also promoting it. I can post a hundred more if you like
I’m not bashing anything. Just saying you can’t actually accelerate the hands the entire downswing or hold shaft flex into impact. Has nothing to do the hands working left post impact or having a clubface with less apparent roll.
I mean let’s be honest here…I posted a sequence of DJ who is about as Gankas as you can get and John said he’s a swinger…so . Go from there where you will.
Lots of pros and tv pundits been reading up on ABS for years.
J Mann, Dubious and fore thirty are all wrx fan boys of the no casting no turning crowd. The guy who says he gave 10000 lessons and makes everyone feel happy just swinging away how you like.No wonder they can’t comprehend how current teachers are doing it now.If you want to feel good casting and not turning than by all means do it.But as usual they attack every golf forum who does it different than what they believe in.It’s the norm now which is so bizarre.Well I can assure you, I won’t be his 10001st lesson
There are subtle things you learn while completing the program that show how DJ is a swinger, maybe a “switter” if you’re being kind. Basically, it all boils down to timing. DJ requires timing. Hitting technique requires no real timing, just a warmed up body and some spatial awareness.
The argument isn’t “which is better”…they obviously all work. Infinite ways to do this, and at the pro level it’s 150% mental anyway, technique be damned.
IMHO, The argument is more: Given 72 holes, tee to green, which technique is going to be more enjoyable for the rec player, and more consistent for the competitive player? We believe accelerating A FAR MORE STABLE clubhead through and past impact is not only possible, but our Holy Grail.
Oh, and it can easily be done. It’s just leverage…if an object is hit, in the middle of a lever’s closing arc, you can continue to accelerate past iimpact, given mass (body) and energy (pivot/release) are available. Simple conceptual math really, you just don’t understand how a door closes I guess.
In Kris Tschetter’s book she discusses this exact thing. At the end of the book, she brings a college physics textbook to Mr. Hogan. In the book it says you can continue to accelerate past a collision if the mass is light enough, and accelerating mass can overcome inertia. A golf ball fits that criteria if you have enough mass…hence, a PIVOT driven leveraged strike.
You probably think rockets aren’t real too, at some point you accelerate past our gravitational pull and atmospheric pressures/friction…just need enough rocket fuel (ABS drills/module work).
Well said.
BTW, Punch shots are not real swings either. (Didn’t Gardner Dickinson use that as his standard iron swing?) Just like a decelerating putting stroke (meaning alway make the same length putting stroke) is the proper way to make putts of varying lengths.
What are you even talking about
The golf swing isn’t a door. There are so many factors going on here which explains why what you’re claiming can’t be done. You really just have no clue.
I was tempted to not post anymore on this forum which seems obviously anti-science but some of the criticisms levelled at me and others deserved one final response.
Lagpressure posted this image of Greg Norman to prove shaft flex.
Both the driver and 5 iron swing had the shaft flex measured using strain gauges.
You can see that there is lead shaft flex for both at impact.
JE needs to look at Ed Barzeski’s criticism of his claims on ‘The Sandtrap’ and have the courage to put his neck on the line rather than hide behind 2d images.

For that person who accused me (and Dr Mann) of being some wrx believers in the Monte Scheinblum’s ‘No Turn Cast’ technique, please look at this post I raised on the NGI forum where Dr Mann has done a critical analysis.

I also wondered why JE deleted my post that showed a possible doctoring of one of the images he posted to prove shaft flex post impact (without striking a ball). That is also shown on the NGI forum if you wish to view it.

Or will JE delete this post too!!!

The three musketeers. Full of scientific data but not one single video of their swings so we can all be impressed.
I bet all three of you can beat Tiger on AE Sports.
Do u guys use a mouse or scroller?
Hilarious, what a bunch of Monkeys
When I analyze a swing, I look at a player’s intention aka “feel” and compare it to the result aka “real.” If what they are doing is the same as what they are feeling they’re doing then they truly understand how their golf swing works and can fix it on the fly if need be.
Feel versus real is the quandary of the golf swing, but they tend to be two different things for most players (Tiger the included).
The psuedo-science of Dr. Kwon or George Gankas have no business teaching the golf swing. A human being with unsurmountable “knowledge of the golf swing” like them can still chunk it like a hack, which is way you hardly see them take a swing themselves. If what people do is correct, they need to demonstrate it in order to prove that their feel is real.

Who taught you how to talk out of two sides of ur mouth?
Typo error - Erik Barzeski not Ed.
For Ayersjj
Erik Barzeski is a PGA qualified instructor and is basically saying the same as we are. So feel free to call him names too (behind your keyboard).

Doors can swing on inclined planes
So David Wedzik, Erik Bazerski, Jeff Mann, Dubious, Fore thirty are all the same ? and made a website bashing every golf program except their baby plastic 5 keys?
No wonder the world is in bad shape
