I was watching hawaii today at 7000 yards which is an old school 5500 yard pitch and putt. Only protection was 5 inch rough and wind. In my mind its a par 68 when u ate hitting mid irons into “par 5s”. Surprisingly -1 is the cut. I saw guys missing fairwsys everywhere. One guy hit it so far off line into 18 it bounced off hospitality tent to 6 feet for eagle. I dont watch much golf but speith was 50% fairways. Guys chopping trees. But they they all hit far so 466 yard par 4s are nothing. Thankfully i dont hit it like that anymore.
