THE PERSIMMON ERA. Davis Love iii was the last pro to lead the PGA
Tour in driving distance in 1994 with a persimmon wood. Bernard Langer was the
last professional to win a Major (THE MASTERS) tournament using a persimmon
driver in 1993. AND JACK NICKLAUS CLAIMED 17 OF HIS 18 MAJOR VICTORIES
WITH PERSIMMONS, AND I ASSUME WITH MACGREGOR ON ALL ACCOUNTS.

Are those MacGregor or Cleveland TC15? I have TC15 driver, 3, 4 and I’m gonna hunt for the rare 2 wood and also a 5 wood. Davis was using the Clevelands as far as I know.

These are Macgregor but most companies were copying models that were having success on tour.
