More evidence that golf has lost its way

Putting’s all about feel and confidence and they have you slap on a device on the shaft which weighs probably about 150 grams and tells you the putt you just sank had an open clubface.

To me… it takes more skill and ability to make putts on bad greens. If you cut across your putts on good greens, the ball will still roll decently… but on bad greens, it will grab grain or deflect off other imperfections much more easily. You really have to roll it good on less than perfect greens… and there is a technique to doing this.
