I’ve seen every grip under the sun play good golf. Without seeing your swing… I would guess it’s a different issue. I’ve seen students come down steep while aiming right and end up hitting low pulled bullets.

Again, without seeing what is going on… you could try moving the ball back in your stance (counter intuitive) and then work or loop the club deep onto the 4:30 line and hit the ball out to the right (rotated plane line Mod 8). That should shallow out your swing plane through the strike and get the clubface more open on the downswing… use a hold off release feeling. Pretty simple stuff for a good player. Better yet if you can feel a heel heavy divot (low hands) through the strike… then hard orbit pull left into finish.

I’ve played some of my best golf doing this.. feeling like I am aiming 10 degrees left and playing a push block on the way to hitting every green.

Years ago, agreed to get on a trackman the day after I shot 66. The operator told me my path was way too inside and my clubface was 2 degrees open at impact! lol. Everything was wrong except for the ball flight and the pair of 33’s on my scorecard!
