Looking to buy ABS spec iron set

Hey I’m looking to buy an ABS spec iron set if anyone has a set for sale. I’ve been looking at MacGregor Tommy Armour VFQ AT2, Wilson DynaPower, Hogan Apex, and some others. Let me know what you have for sale and maybe we can work something out!

I am also looking for ABS spec irons. I just bought a set of ‘62 Power Thrust that I am very excited about and I hope I do not need to do that much tweaking. Their a a few sets that you mention currently on ebay. Good luck.

Yea I’ve been looking at Ebay. Some nice sets I found on there come with regular flex shafts though and I’d like to find a set with stiff shafts in them already and that includes a Pitching Wedge.

I have noticed this too. I wonder if they just didn’t make a lot of those sets with stiff shafts.

And I bought a pitching wedge to match the art for almost what I paid for the entire set. LoL.

good luck with your search. Happy Holidays

Keep in mind the wedges for most sets wear out first. Try to find something that looks similar at your local thrift shop. When you think about it wedge shot has different ideas compared to full iron. I don’t really have a problem with the wedges looking a bit different.

I have the 1963 IPTs I’m getting them tweaked this weekend by David Bass in North Carolina.

How do you like the 1963 IPTs?

I love them it’s my birth year so they have a connection plus the IPTs are a very special club in the Hogan line. I’m putting Dynamic Gold X7s in them this weekend. And that will take them to another level.

Is there a place where people can buy sell ABS spec irons?
or a tutorial as to how to DIY for example weighting irons? Thanks

I did exactly this with a rechromed set of ‘57 Precisions. Hard stepped X7s, couldn’t be happier. You’re gonna LOVE those IPTs when you’re done with them. Happy hitting!!
