My lightbulb this week was from something that Calvin Peete taught me. He always preached playing golf going downhill and when I was looking at so shells golf last week my eyes were drawn to all these classic players having way more horizontal /lateral motion in their transition versus what we are seeing today. So this week I went back to what Calvin said and made sure I had that feeling of going downhill.
And you shot 66 yesterday! WOW!
Let’s hear about that..
Thanks John
Lowest round of the year a clean 66 in a par 71. 34 going out and 32 coming in.
6 FIR on front, 7 GIR, 2 up& down saves and 14 putts. Then on the back I had 5 FIR, 6 GIR 2 up & down saves and 12 putts.
I know it may sound strange to some but it was a very easy 66 because I was not long and left none the entire round. On my saves I was short and right and had the entire green to hit easy bump and runs to the hole.
Putting was really good the hole seemed really large and I stayed on the high side most of the day leaving easy tap ins for par.

I didn’t think about anything ABS while playing I kinda said on the first tee I’m doing the drills 300 reps a day, just go play golf and keep the ball in front of me and off the sides of the golf course.
Exactly… leave the Mods and drills back in the garage or backyard. A few shots on the range to view today’s shot pattern, then go play that. Ball - Target on the course. Scoring is what is happening inside 100 yards.
