- Path. How much inside should one be on trackman numbers. 2. I still hit to much close on the hosel; what to do?
I think where you aim is crucial on launch monitors. Would say a 430 line slot should produce a 10 plus in to out path. And when you progress. The post impact work should take that 10 degrees and maybe cut it down to 3 -4 in to out. Watch your spin as well. Keep it a 1000 less than whatever iron your hitting
I agree with @Slinger72 I remember @lagpressure mentioning that his number was in the neighborhood of net 2 degrees between the into impact and post impact path. As for the hosel shots pay attention to your distance from the ball firstly and secondly with how much the heel is leading into impact it is shocking how important intentional forearm rotation is. In my opinion you have to be trying to hook the ball.
I must be a different breed. I’m aim slightly left. And my goal is (or feel) is to hit the biggest push slice I can hit. As odd as it sounds. It’s been working
Different strokes as they say. I think this ABS motion and most particularly the way Hogan moved his club is part of the reason why he would say he wished he had “4 right hands.”
I watched you swing over on the track man thread and what you’re saying makes complete sense. The way you move the club is much more like Trevino than Hogan. I like how you do it
I did this program back in 2012 ish. And keep at it as best I can. I developed a backswing that lets me get it in the 430 slot the way I interpreted it.But instead of a fade ball flight. Developed a hook style ball flight. For playing senior golf now. The draw hook has allowed me to still play the member tees and even back tees occasionally. But have to fear going way left. For me coming down with a wide open face and taking that past the ball seems to work the best. It’s not easy, and something that always has to be monitored
It’s good for sure. I’m gonna correct myself to say more like Kenny Perry. You may spot the club even deeper than he does. Keep at it! It’s not how it’s how many.
Striking close to the hosel usually is a posture issue not the path issue. I would check and make sure that you are really bowing to the 4:30 line and maintaining that posture deep into the transition.
