Hey guys,
I just stumbled across what might be some slightly useful info. Anybody looking to make an ABS style impact bag, but is having a hard time finding used carpet might give this a try. Get on Craig’s List and go the the section titled “free”. Here in San Antonio alone, there were two ads for free used carpeting…perfect for an impact bag, and free to boot.

Carpet was in a bedroom just off the Oval Office area. Carpet has Presidential Seal logo with some minor “staining” near the eagle, shield, olive branch, arrows and 23 of the 50 stars. Also minor cigar tobacco and other unknown residue showing through the backing.
