Why would these articulations not be applied to golf?
Different clubs for different games.. seems logical enough.
Snooker vs American Pool… different stick, ball and table.
Golf vs today’s game (not sure what to call it)
Different stick, different ball, different playing field.
If you change all three it has to be a different game.
Very interesting reading the comments below this youtube video. Playing pool on a snooker table. This is exactly how I feel playing golf on a goof course.
One of the comments was from a guy who got kicked out of his pool hall trying to do this. Like me showing up to a goof course with steel spiked golf shoes.
These delineations need to be acknowledged in golf..

I use a snooker cue with a rounded tip to play pool. You can’t play shots with side using a flat tip pool cue.
