It’s a slow process.. not a natural intuition for most..
I found the key is really the Mod 1 drill. Learn to HIT From the 4:30 line. Get comfortable with that… and learn to hit balls
even just 50 yards… from 4:30 and hip high.
As the brain gets comfortable that the body can hit from 4:30… it will SLOWLY ALLOW the shaft to get into the slot with tentative
confidence. Little by little this happens over time.
Also allowing for the push block shot.. this gives the brain a bit of a green light to hit the inside quadrant of the ball. Put the ball
back in the stance with a rotated plane line.. (like a T square) and hit balls out as far right as possible. Good golf can be played from here and Trevino is a perfect example of how great this can become.
The Mod 3. This is the low left and around exit.. with force and acceleration. Then SLOWLY over TIME… the 4:30 entry can become a 7:30 exit.. leaving a net zero… or straight shot.
Our alignment then becomes not a strict or arbitrary square to square (Forced) but it becomes fluid. This is what we focus on in Module 8 and 9. We learn to shape the ball (draws, fades) from the various ball positions. This allows for individuality and personal freedom within the context of a proper golf swing (ABS)
