First time play golf in a long time

I went out to play 9 holes walking today. Took the Cleveland Classics and my Staff Fluid Feel blades. It has been decades since I’ve used them. It was also the first time in years I was walking and at 56 my stamina dwindled fairly quickly. Par 5 opener to the inward half(easier side to walk)and the drive was tagged right down the gut. Solid 4 wood to green side good pitch and missed 6 footer. Another pipeline drive solid 6 iron to uphill green, 20 feet 2 putts. Par 3 175 solid 5 iron to 20’ again 2 putts. Then another gutted drive but my legs were getting weak. Another 6 iron approach hung to the right because my footwork was slacking. By the next tee shot is was more obvious and I struggled in with a few more pars and a couple bogeys. All in all I am quite pleased! Don’t get much time to work on my game but I hope to drill a bit harder as autumn arrives and hopefully I can get out some more to build some stamina. Thanks to all of you for inspiring me to get out there again. Absolutely loved to hear the sound of a well struck shot off a block of persimmon again too!!!
