Hogan plus1 set 2-E added hogan sand iron and its heavy! I love it. Wasn’t sure how 6* flat would go…Well it was awesome. Spalding Wood set is stock not sure lie on those but around 14.5oz on the 1w. Shafts are original heavy stiff. Need some technical help to hit those better
Great looking set!
Love the Hogan Bounce Soles
Those are gems sir. I guess my forum name-tag points towards them too…
Not too shabby. I can’t recall using a Bounce Sole before to see what underslung had up its sleeve. So, if you don’t like that Hogan issue, I’ll trade for them offering a set of Kirland Signature irons from Costco in return. ![]()
How did you like them? Hit them?
Hitting this 6i pretty solid
Pretty good 5i down. Struggling to get the 1-3 Spalding woods and 234irons in the air..
Will post some footage maybe you can see where the problem is with the woods and long irons
The set I owned were ‘68 Plus One’s, slightly different than the OP’s One Plus’s. I’d forgotten that difference. Played them at least two seasons over 10 yrs ago, and loved tinkering with them. An argument can be made that bounce, not on previous Hogan irons, would benefit a player in soft conditions. And I would not disagree.
Sold/gifted that set, in favor of a set of ‘63 IPT’s, which I still have. Unfortunately, I didn’t weigh and record both sets, but IPT’s felt heavier to me. They also, do not have the bounce sole feature. At the time, I felt I was willing to trade the bounce feature for heavier heads. Chalked the weight difference up to the necks being longer, but not certain.
Everything around WA is soft haha.
Had some long divots.Fun to watch those
with the ball flight.
Also picked up a set of Walter Haggen’s
I’ll post a pic later maybe you can date them
Shafts seem decent hopefully wont need to pull them
