Depends upon the sand…
If the sand is hard or wet, you might do better with a PW… but for fluffy sand the heavier head with more bounce works best.
Thanks. That bounce sole is enormously wide, and it may take some practice with it. It was somewhat idiotic for me to report results from 4 swings only, but sometimes my curiosity wins over my patience. 
I finally picked up an original R-90 wedge. It is heavy, and rechromed. I have a playability question. I am guessing because of the rounded face I tend to pull my pitches and chips a bit with it. I have figured out how to deal with that…I simply “feel” like the face is a bit more open at impact. I am just wandering if others have had to make similar adjustment to playing it. I do like the way the flange is made. Can really go at it aggressively in the sand.
