I do. I spend alot of time hitting long irons. Its been said alot on this site that hitting blade long irons is a good test for your swing, because just about anyone can hit hybrids.
He is right, have a Murifield 20th 1 iron. It is the smallest club head I have seen. Perfection is the only solution for a good shot. Sweet spot and that is it, reminds me of the cricket guy Two posted that trained with smaller cricket bat.
The body and brain are amazing and adjust to almost anything over time, some do it quickly and some do it slowly. Not above what it needs and not below what it needs but in exact proportion. We choose the proportion that the body and brain must adapt. This is the entire idea behind education of any type.
