Graham was always a fanatical gear guy. He really understood clubs and shafts. Hitting and swinging and so on.

Hogan’s Vector shaft was designed for hard hitters like himself, but I think the shaft failed to gain popularity because too many swingers were using it at the time and it got a bad rap out on the tour ranges. I think it’s a concept that should be revisited.
