Curtis Strange Golf Swing

Again, we see this classic level move through impact with one of the finest controllers of a golf ball. I spent a lot of time studying Curtis’ swing when I was reworking mine back in the late 1980’s.

I really like the range of motion of his torso in those bottom two pictures, that’s something i work on alot, and it seems like it’s something that is common among alot of the best ballstrikers.

This is critical…
you can see how far his shoulders have moved… and how little his hands have moved relative to that. So we can see that the inside is really moving the outside. This is one of the key reasons Strange was one of the purist strikers of his era… winning back to back US Open in the persimmon age. (although he was often using a small persimmon sized metal wood! )
