I think I just made a birdie & a bogey at the same time.
This is a fairly new net and the other day I was practicing the Super Slot Module with an old flat Titleist persimmon 3-wood. I might have to quit this module because Lag never mentioned that SS’ing might bust through a net.
All kidding aside, I’m not where I need to be yet with the full range of motion in the SS module but definitely feeling the extra pressure it delivers…Like Lag says, “You’ll never forget your first true SS” and maybe I accidently got near one.
I remember talking with Lag shortly after he experienced a SS “moment” on the deck. Sounds like you just had one as well. I suggest you continue to have that net directed into the woods and not any populated areas, interstates, schoolyards, churches, etc.
I usually aim for 2/3’s to 3/4’s the way up the net. The club felt like it collided with a 5-lb. kettle bell and the ball took off with a much higher trajectory.
Put some paracord on the net tonight and should be good to go tomorrow
