I thought this was an interesting article. Especially where he discusses how the new equipment didn’t help his game. That shaping shots and ball striking are not very important anymore and how professional golf has become one dimensional.
yes great article…I sent him a message to say I agree with everything he said. He was a fine player. Played a bunch in Europe and Australia with him…think I played with him first 2 days when he won the Aust PGA one year at La Perouse. Played great on that links style course. He has a good personality for his next venture into golf broadcasting etc with a Sean Connery voice to boot…
