2 Questions about 4:30/ Elbow Plane

Maybe 3 questions:

(1) Do all good golfers get to the 4:30 position (hitters and swingers)???

(2) Is the position we are calling the 4:30 line leads to a golfer being on what TGM calls the elbow plane?

(3) Look at this swinger (Mike Austin) on the 4:30 line before he ‘right arm swings’ on the inside path out to first base.

The 4:30 line is where we want to be.
TGM embraced the 4:30 line as well.
I haven’t really studied Austin’s swing that much…

The elbow plane is what many coaches that have biomechanics knowledge look at today. In ABS it’s akin to the dynamic swing plane and in biomechanics we call it the functional swing plane. They are all one and the same. Both great hitters and great swingers all strive to play from the 4:30 line. When I teach one of the points of interest that I pay attention to is shaft to trail forearm relationship. You can see Mike Austin in this 2D photo in a very good trail forearm to shaft relationship. Another person to check out is Mickey Wright she did it better than anyone in my humble opinion.

The more skyward the clubface at P3 4:30, the more the player has the green light to hit hard and level with the body, torso, shoulders, pivot rotation.
