I have the 1988 Redlines and picked up a set of 1992 Hogan Fort Worth Redlines for a song and a dance. These clubs are not the same animal. Both are classic blades with thin top line and minimal offset. But that’s where the comparison ends. The 1992 Fort Worth Redlines felt like an old girlfriend in my hand. Maybe its the Apex 5 shafts that are the difference the 1988 Redlines have the Apex 4 shaft in them but the feel and the harmonics are totally different between the two sets.
If someone twisted my arm and said you can only play one from this point on it would be the 1992 Hogan Redline Fort Worth.
