Twomasters- swing thoughts of the past

Love how tight your arms are into your armpits… and what a great place to display it!

Australian Masters this week at my favourite golf course Royal Melbourne. Tough week as far as scoring for me but did play well tee to green…with the exception of my 3 wood and hybrid club. Those two clubs cost me badly. I have no confidence in either at the moment. My 3 wood I have used for 7 years however the shaft is now beat and it just doesn’t feel good. I have tried replacing it but to no avail as yet. The hybrid just proved to me how illegitimate they are as a golf club…the offset- the fat sole- the hooked face with loft… just nothing like any other club in my bag… high and hooking every time except when i had to hit a low one into the wind and then the sucker just goes along the ground.
Hit every 29 of 30 fairways and 28 out of 36 greens but didnt make enough birdies to offset the mistakes and missed a few putts too- mainly from lack of tournament play…but was a great experience to play in an event I have won twice on such a brilliant course.
Had the good fortune on Friday afternoon of Vijay Singh asking me to watch him hit some balls on the range. We had a chat about what he was doing and where his mishits and poor shots were coming from. I gave him my thoughts and an easy remedy and after 30 mins he looked like he was ready to go… which he proved today with a brilliant 8 under par 63 to jump into 2nd position and be in the final group tomorrow with Adam Scott (who is playing unbelievably well). …pretty cool stuff

Congratulations, Bradley, I had heard you had a range visit with Vijay. He almost pulled it off. Good to see Adam Scott win again. One more for the trifecta, not including the team match play with Jason Day. I love everything about his game, except that God-awful putter. Do you think he is going to switch soon or ride it out until the ban goes into effect?
