I am in the same situation, thx for this thread. I set all my vintage irons to flat ABS lie angles ( see the thread: Should I or not, put ABS flat lie angles on my collection of playable vintage golf iron sets? - #28 by John_Sing ) and my Hogan Pitching Wedges/Gap Wedges iare now 59 degrees instead of the stock Hogan 64 degrees. So, I also will try setting my SW at 61 degrees as @DutchVanOostendorp , and see how that plays.
@DutchVanOostendorp , does your 61 degree lie angle Sand Wedge play any differently at this lie angle, when playing sand shots?
