Thought I’d publish this. Mr. Hogan’s swing in the early 1940’s. You can see all of the mechanics before he polished them later in 1948+
These are the power golf years which I personally think are Hogan best years if I rember correctly during the Power Golf years Hogan won 36 or 39 times. Then post accident Hogan only won 12 times but those are the years most people love because of the Majors that were won during those years.
During the Power Golf years that include 13 wins in 1946 and 10 wins in 1948 with 3 majors during those years. Also 4 Vardon trophies for lowest scoring average. Add in the leading money winner 5 times.
Then post accident what I call the 5 lesson years Hogan won 12 times but 6 were Majors so those Majors seem to make many forget about the Power Golf dominance years.
Breaking Down Hogan pre 1949 and post 1949 is really interesting because they are definitely not the same motions but they do have similarities at key moments.
