Yesterday I purchased a set 1971 Hogan Bounce Soles off the Bay…waiting for their arrival. Then today, went to hit some balls at local range and they had a pretty nice set of Apex II black cameos. I couldn’t resist. Both sets have the Apex 4 shafts. Looking forward to hitting both these sets and getting the flattened and heavied

Good pick-ups. Apex IIs were my first set of vintage blades. They are great irons but are definitely on the lighter-side compared to old Macs. I went through an entire roll of lead tape getting the weights on mine up!
I’ve heard they Apex’s were a tad light…I have not weighed them yet. Seats of the pants weighing by feel they feel heavier than my late 50’s Macgregor Tommy Armour Colokroms. We shall see.
