One of my friends who i used to stay with in Orlando when i would go back and visit the area…his mother was Tony Lema’s sister…so TL was his uncle.
He had a bunch of Ryder Cup photos and videos and pics in his house…I am guessing he was fairly young when his uncle died …maybe 7 or 8
I haven’t spoken with him for a while and his e-mail has changed (was sent back un-returned) but will try catch up with him somehow as I am sure he has some fond memories and tidbits to tell.
I think you guys will enjoy this one

Thanks Ralph, enjoyed it. Loved the isolation of the legs and feet. One can really see how Nagle must have influenced Senior.
Here’s a nice one on 4d analysis, it kind of validates the notion of post impact “Pivot Thrust”

Didn’t know where to put this as it appears the Technology section is no longer available in the drop-down “Select a Forum” section to us outsiders like it was before.
Anway, received a few PM’s from users at a different site ( dirt ) and not only did I direct them to ABS, but told them to search "orbit pull’. They told me nothing came up in a search, so I tried and couldn’t find anything either----although I know it has to be mentioned somewhere.
Can anyone link maybe a few posts where orbit pulling is discussed, and I’ll pass the information along. It still seems to me like the search bar doesn’t work maybe like it should- if I type in “orbit pull” it says something like the words are too general. What’s the best way to use the search function.
RR,
As a workaround, one of the gurus here suggested the following method to me long ago. Try using your browser to search for: “orbit pull” golf. I used Yahoo successfully. Then click on the ABS links. Not sure, but I suggest putting “orbit pull” in quotes and add golf. I can’t speak for all search engines. For example AVG Secure Search won’t pull up ABS links for: “orbit pull” golf. I don’t know what Google or other engines will or won’t do.
RR/1TB,
The best way to search for keywords & phrases on a specific website is to use the following structure to the search query (this works on google, not sure about the other search engines):
First, enter the search keyword or phrase:
eg,
orbit pull (will bring up any mentions of the two words ‘orbit’ and ‘pull’ in close proximity)
or
“orbit pull” (will bring up mentions of the two words adjacent to each other - useful when the first search string brings up too many unwanted results)
Then, type site: then the site name (without the http:// part of the address)
eg.
site:advancedballstriking.com
The search string would therefore look like this:
orbit pull site:advancedballstriking.com
or
“orbit pull” site:advancedballstriking.com
Hope that helps!
Further to my above post, I’ve found this is the best way to search any website, instead of using the site’s own internal search engine. Google’s algorithms seem to bring up much better quality search results.
That works terrific…thanks Teebox and Hubbins…cool way to do it.
Cheers RR - glad to help!
Thanks RR but I tip my hat to St. Hubbins keener points.

Golf is a long journey for everyone who takes the game with some degree of seriousness.
This is an old thread but the search bar works Question about Orbit Pull. @lagpressure
When I load in backswing I am basically gathering the weight inside right leg. Being that I have been a swinger and throwing the right arm, it seems paramount that I use what is coiled. In other words, firing that weight to left foot bf I unload the upper coil. I dont do well it seems holding back the upper body unload. I find if I focus on the proper coil into the right leg there is where the focus should stay.
In transition, the bending of the shaft begins and maintains. As soon as I try to do it with just upper body I lose the flex in the shaft. Maybe Arnie was strong enough but I am not 163 lbs.
Seems like the upper torso should go for a ride not the opposite like the throw Ive been haunted by for years.
