Classic Golf Clubs Price List and Information

I thought this would be good to post in the equipment section.
Lots of very good information about the classic clubs, the markings, the year and price value.
Obviously we are not in the persimmon age any longer so these prices will be far fetched in today’s world but some ‘keepers’ could command $$$

I picked up a Hogan Oil Hardened MacGregor (book value $400) for $25 and a Tommy Armour Tourney 693 (book value $500) for $29 recently… and they both had x-stiff shafts!! …so there are some great bargains and finds out there .

I thought the following pages will assist with giving you guys an insider guide at what is good, bad and indifferent out there and what to look for if they pop up on e-bay. I will add more and more pages until it is all loaded…Macgregor, Spalding and Wilson … are the clubs listed…probably about 70 pages of info when all said and done… Enjoy and Happy hunting

This page has always been very helpful. A big shout-out to Two and Lag for the information.

Does anyone have an identification guide for Haig Ultra irons?

And red stripe is stiff and black is regular on the Haig and Wilson irons, correct?

I do have the Wilson books from the 70’s, so I will check…

That would be great! Curious what year this model is too
