Sounds like a fun game–bet you a lot of people get wet retrieving their ball from the water. It would be an interesting choice whether to give the orange ball to the low marker or the short and straight guy.
Yeah, the drive-quotas are great. Nerve-wracking though. We spent the whole back 9 trying to use the 23 marker’s drives but someone else always would put a ball in irresistible location that we just had to be patient.
oh no Steb… there is no choice. Once you pick the rotation the lone player changes every hole. So in your case the 23 marker would be “alone” on at least 4 holes.
Now THAT’s nerve-wracking! Nothing like 3 guys scrambling for an easy birdie while watching their “single” struggle his way to a triple-bogey. (But of course that’s what makes for the best stories afterwards). And believe me, the low marker can make a triple as easy as the 23 can.
