Nasir won a tournament on Monday but it was a sloppy win. The kind we have talked about for a few years. Everyone has the potential to win with their A & B game. But can you win with your C game ?

He was -1 going into hole 17 an chose driver off the tee and hit through the fairway creating a bogey situation. He recovered on 18 with par but finished Level for the day and enough for the win.

I have drilled into these junior scholars that flaws creep in over time so don’t wait until you are hitting it terrible before you come see me. He called me on Monday after his win and set up a session for today. We simply addressed some little nail concepts but didnt try to reinvent the wheel in the process. All things we have tackled in the past but sometimes we forget about the little nails that keep the structure together.

I like your party analogy using late and early. I’ve used similar ideas: On a blind date you’re either coming in early or coming in late, hopefully it’s late, and with a party the cool folks arrive strategically late and leave early, the nerds arrive early and leave late…losers! :rofl:

:laughing: yes indeed thank you I have found that every age group I teach can grasp the party analogy and I see the clients make immediate calibrations once they understand that the arms and hands are moving last on the downswing after the transition has started.
